Managing Crew Rotation Status and Crew Activity Types in Horizon

Purpose

This article explains how to view, manage, and configure Crew Rotation Status and Crew Activity Types in Portside Horizon.
These configurations define how crew availability, assignments, and training activities are categorized and displayed within scheduling and operational workflows.

Overview

In Horizon:

  • Crew Rotation Status identifies a crew member’s overall availability (e.g., On Duty, Sick, Training, Off).

  • Crew Activity Types define the specific activities or duty categories associated with that status (e.g., Simulator, Recurrent, Flight Physical, Jury Duty).

Together, they support accurate tracking of crew duty, compliance, and operational planning.
