This article explains how to manage and configure Flight Log settings in Portside Horizon, including Approach Types, Delay Types, and Flight Log Statuses.
These configurations help operators maintain accurate flight reporting, categorize operational events, and standardize how flight data is logged.

(Reference: Screenshots – Flight Log Configuration Pages)
The Flight Log configuration area allows administrators to define and maintain standard operational categories used in trip and flight records.
Key configurable sections include:
Approach Type – Defines instrument and navigation approaches used in flight operations.
Delay Type – Classifies causes of flight delays.
Flight Log – Defines the stages or statuses of a flight log (e.g., Departure, Logged, Verified).
These standardized configurations ensure consistency across operational reporting and compliance systems.
Defines the types of instrument approaches available for logging flight operations.
Each approach type is categorized as either Precision or Non-Precision, which determines how the system classifies it in performance metrics.
Navigate to More → Flight Log → Approach Type.
Click + Add Approach Type.
