Accessing and Managing Airport Details in Horizon

Overview

This article explains how to view and manage airport-specific data within the Horizon platform, including Hotels, Maintenance, Ground Transportation, Documents, Notes, and Audit Logs.



Sections Overview

Hotels

Displays hotels associated with the selected airport.
Use the Show Inactive checkbox to include inactive entries.

Miscellaneous

Lists miscellaneous airport-related details (such as services or facilities not covered by other categories).
You can toggle Show Inactive to view all entries.

Maintenance (Mx)

Contains airport maintenance data, including active and inactive records.

Ground Transportation (Gnd Trans)

Displays available ground transportation options.
Inactive options can be viewed using the Show Inactive checkbox.

Misc

Shows additional undefined or miscellaneous data types linked to the airport.

Documents

Lists uploaded documents related to the airport, such as manuals, inspection reports, or vendor files.


Notes Section

Viewing Notes

  • The Notes panel displays operational remarks and updates related to the airport.

  • Notes are sorted by default, showing the most recent updates first.

  • Search or filter notes by:

    • Priority

    • Alert Severity

    • Note Type

    • Last Updated

    • Created

Each note includes:

  • Author (e.g., Satterfield, Chanelle)

  • Timestamps for creation and last update

  • Note content (e.g., runway closures or restrictions)

TWY WM closed indefinitely between RWY 15L/33R and TWY WB; barricaded & lighted.

Managing Notes

  • Click the gear icon (⚙️ Ops Note) to edit existing notes.

  • Click the trash icon (🗑) to delete a note.

  • To add a new note, click the + Note button in the upper-right corner of the Notes section.

  • Navigate through notes using the pagination controls at the bottom (e.g., Page 1 of 14).


Audit Logs

The Audit Logs section at the bottom tracks user activities and system updates related to airport data.
It provides traceability for changes made to any of the sections above, supporting compliance and operational oversight.


Additional Navigation Options

From the top-right menu, you can also access:

  • Gnd Trans, Documents, Notes, and Audit Logs tabs directly.

  • Related modules such as Contacts, Services, FBOs, Hotels, and Maintenance for integrated airport management.

  • View operational and support data for each airport
