The Calendar view is one of the most powerful tools in Horizon for flight operations and dispatch teams. It displays all scheduled flights, charters, and maintenance events across the fleet in a timeline format. Each aircraft row shows current location, status, and upcoming trips, enabling real-time visibility into resource utilization.
In this view, you can:
See upcoming trips by aircraft or operator.
View flight legs and trip details by date.
Toggle between UTC and local time.
Filter by aircraft, crew, or trip type.
From the top navigation menu:
Hover over Calendar.
Choose one of the following views:
Aircraft & Trips – Shows aircraft and linked trips.
Aircraft & Crew – Displays aircraft schedules with crew assignments.
Aircraft – Aircraft schedules only.
Crew – Crew duty assignments and availability.
Trips – Trip-based timeline with associated aircraft.
Tip: Most schedulers use Aircraft & Trips or Aircraft & Crew for daily operations.
Located at the top of the screen:
Date Selector: Choose the start date (e.g., 10/2/2025).
Navigation Arrows (◀ ▶): Move forward or backward by day/week.
Today Button: Returns the calendar to the current day.
Time Zone Toggle: Switch between UTC and Local time zones.
Refresh / Auto Refresh: Updates the display with live data (e.g., active flights or status changes).
Use Auto Refresh to keep schedules current during live flight operations.
Located at the top right:

Each row on the left represents an aircraft tail number or operator account:
Aircraft Details:
Tail Number (e.g., N123DR)
Aircraft Type (e.g., G650, C56XL)
Current Location (e.g., KPTK, KASE)
Home Base and RTS Date if applicable
Operator/Charter Groups: (e.g., KS Skies – Charter)
These appear as grouped entities below the aircraft list.
Each horizontal colored bar represents a flight leg or trip segment:
Red Bars: Charter or private flights
Orange Bars: Cargo or special missions
Blue Bars (striped): Maintenance or repositioning
Labels: Display departure/arrival airport codes (e.g., KPHL → CYUL)
Click a trip bar to view trip details, legs, and crew assignments.
If viewing Aircraft & Crew, each aircraft timeline will display:
Crew assignments under corresponding flight legs.
Crew duty/rest periods visually aligned with aircraft activity.
If viewing Trips, the calendar will organize data by Trip Number, showing related flight segments per date.
At the top right corner:
Legend: Explains color coding for flight types, statuses, and events.
Filter Buttons: Quickly toggle visibility for Aircraft, Crew, or Trips.
UTC / Local: Switch between time zone displays for easier coordination with international operations.
