Crew Records
Crew Requirement Search Page
A dedicated search page for crew requirements is available to better manage upcoming or past requirements. The page is grouped by Due Date by default, but can be adjusted per user. The standard search functionality is in place such as grouping, sorting, Filtering and the ability to show/hide columns. In order for users to access this page, they need the search permission selected for Person_TrainingRequirement. If selected, this page will show under the main Persons menu.

Country Specific Training
An additional condition has been added to Crew Requirements to limit the item to a specific country. This will ensure that the alerts in the trip only check if this item is valid for a crew when that country is on the itinerary. For support of multiple countries on a single training item, see the Geographic Groups feature below.
Sort/Grouping on Crew Requirements System Configuration table
Additional functionality has been added to the Crew Requirements system configuration page for better visibility and easier management. This includes grouping (multi-levels) and sorting. The default sort is by Name and the default grouping is by the Required In field.
Finance
Expense Search Page
A dedicated search page for expenses is available to better manage upcoming or past trip/aircraft expenses. The page is grouped by Rec Date by default, but can be adjusted per user. The standard search functionality is in place such as grouping, sorting, Filtering and the ability to show/hide columns. In order for users to access this page, they need the search permission selected for Trip_Expense or Aircraft_Expense. If selected, this page will show in the main navigation.
General
Flight Time Estimator Improvements
A new menu options is available to all users (regardless of their user permissions) to access useful tools. The first tool we are launching in here is the flight time estimator. This can be launched from any page in the application. Users can select either an aircraft tail or aircraft model, the number of passengers and crew, and the requested itinerary. For each leg, it will not only show the current fields, but three new columns have been added for the cumulative duty, flight and rest.

Geographic Groups
Custom geographic groups can be created under System Configuration > Country and State. These groups can be applied to Countries, States and Airports. In addition, new conditions have been added to crew requirements and trip fees to only trigger when an airport on the itinerary falls into the applied group. This is very helpful for crew requirements that require multiple countries for example or fees that apply for domestic countries (if multiple countries are considered domestic).
Passport Type
An additional selection has been added to the passport record for Type. If additional context is needed around the type of passport being used (ex. Diplomatic, Official or Tourist), it can be specified here. New types can be added under System > Document > Document Types. In order for the new type to show up in the drop down, the document type System Category needs to be set to Passport.
Integrations
FlightSafety International
The integration for FlightSafety International has been completed, and it available to enable in Horizon. This is setup under System > Integrations > Add Integration. Once the authentication is complete, and the Courses/Training Items are pulled, crew requirements can be mapped to either courses or training items (or excluded from the sync). When the sync runs nightly, it will pull newly completed training records, create a crew logbook, and enter the completed data/history for the relevant crew requirements.
Operations/Scheduling
Calendar Resource Data Settings
On the Aircraft, Crew and Trips Calendar (not supported on the Schedule), users can click on the gear icon above the resource cells and set the data they want to show for the aircraft, crew and trips. One thing to note is the more info that is included, the taller the row will be.
Calendar Dynamic Text Color
The text color of the flight/activity cards on the Calendar pages (not supported on the Schedule), will automatically update based on the background color to either black or white. This ensures that the text is readable regardless of what the background color is set to.
Display Crew Events On Aircraft Calendar
On the Aircraft Calendar (not supported on the Schedule), when a user goes into their settings, they now have the option to add crew Rotations, Duty Periods and Activities to the aircraft view. This will automatically pull the events for crew members that are directly associated to the aircraft, or that have events that are tied to that aircraft.

Multi-Certificate Support
The initial implementation for multi-certificate support has been added in this release. If an organization operates multiple certificates, they can enable the setting under System. Once enabled, multiple certificate Organizations will be added to designate which are the certificates that are under this account. Users and aircraft will then need to be directly linked to their respective organization certificate. The following limitations will then be in place.
- Users on one certificate will not be able to sign off training items for crew on another certificate
- Users on one certificate will not be able to change the status of flights or flight logs for aircraft not on their certificate
- Users will not be able to create or update maintenance events for aircraft not on their certificate.
- Vendor approvals can be linked directly to a certificate to ensure compliance with a specific certs approvals.
