Veryon Integration
Overview
The Veryon integration connects Horizon with the Veryon (formerly ATP) aircraft maintenance tracking platform. This integration automatically syncs maintenance item data from Veryon into Horizon, giving operations teams visibility into aircraft maintenance status alongside flight scheduling.
Maintenance items sync automatically on a daily schedule without manual intervention.
How to Set Up the Integration
Prerequisites
- An active Veryon account with API access
- API credentials provided by Veryon
- Administrator access in Horizon
Configuration Steps
- Navigate to System Configuration > Integrations in Horizon.
- Locate the Veryon integration section.
- Enter the required credentials provided by Veryon.
- Click Save and test the connection.
- Once configured, maintenance items will begin syncing automatically on a daily schedule.
How Data Syncs Between the Two Systems
Sync Direction
| Direction | Data | Trigger |
|---|
| Horizon → Veryon | Aircraft flight logged times (verified logs) | Automatic — syncs as logs are verified |
| Veryon → Horizon | Maintenance items (due items, compliance status, tracking data) | Automatic — syncs daily |

What Passes Through
From Veryon to Horizon:
- Aircraft maintenance items and their current status
- Maintenance due dates and intervals (hours, cycles, calendar)
From Horizon to Veryon:
- This integration is primarily one-directional (Veryon → Horizon). Flight hours and cycles recorded in Horizon’s flight logs may be used by Veryon separately.
Sync Behavior
- Maintenance items sync automatically once per day.
- New items from Veryon are created in Horizon; existing items are updated with current status and due dates.
Where to Find Veryon Data in Horizon
Aircraft Management — Maintenance Due Items
Maintenance items synced from Veryon appear on the Maintenance section (also called the “Do List”) within the Aircraft Profile.
How to view:
- Navigate to Aircraft Management and select the aircraft.
- Open the Maintenance section.
- The grid displays all due items, including those imported from Veryon. Items imported from Veryon will show their source as the external maintenance system.
- To manually trigger a sync from Veryon, click the Mx System button in the toolbar above the due items grid. This pulls the latest maintenance data from Veryon for this aircraft.
Schedule — Maintenance Bars and MEL Items
Maintenance items from Veryon are also visible on the Schedule (Timeline) view.
How to view:
- Navigate to the Schedule page.
In the aircraft section, maintenance items appear as bars on dedicated sub-rows:
- MEL (Minimum Equipment List) items appear with a diagonal line pattern
- Expired items show a flashing violation icon on the left
- Items in grace period show a warning icon on the left
- Double-click a maintenance due item on the schedule to open the Aircraft Maintenance Due Items page for more detail.
- To see maintenance data on the schedule, ensure the Events and Maintenance (or Due Items) toggles are enabled in the Schedule Filter Settings.
Aircraft Cards on the Schedule
Aircraft cards in the left panel of the Schedule display a maintenance summary showing remaining days, hours, and cycles with color-coded warnings. This gives dispatchers an at-a-glance view of each aircraft’s maintenance status.
How to use day-to-day:
- Before dispatching an aircraft, check the Maintenance Due Items section on the aircraft profile or review the maintenance bars on the Schedule to ensure no items are overdue or approaching their limits.
- Click Mx System on the aircraft’s due items grid to pull the latest data from Veryon if you need an immediate refresh outside the daily sync.
- Watch for flashing violation icons on the schedule — these indicate expired maintenance items that must be addressed before the aircraft can fly.
Troubleshooting
Maintenance items are not appearing in Horizon
- Verify the Veryon integration is enabled and configured for your organization. Check System Configuration > Integrations for valid credentials.
- The sync runs once daily — new items added in Veryon after the last sync will not appear until the next scheduled run.
Sync appears to have stopped working
- The Veryon API credentials may have expired or been rotated. Contact Veryon support to verify your credentials, then update them in System Configuration > Integrations.
- If the issue persists, contact your system administrator.
Some aircraft are missing maintenance data
- Ensure all aircraft in Horizon are properly registered in your Veryon account. Aircraft matching is done by tail number — verify that tail numbers are consistent between both systems.
Maintenance item statuses seem outdated
Best Practices
- Review maintenance items before dispatching — Check the aircraft’s maintenance status in Horizon before assigning it to a trip. The Veryon sync keeps this data current.
- Keep tail numbers consistent — Ensure aircraft tail numbers match exactly between Horizon and Veryon for proper data matching.
- Coordinate maintenance updates — When maintenance is performed, update records in Veryon first and allow the sync to bring the updated status into Horizon.
